Intro To Photography Classes

I am excited to host these intro classes to all DSLR Photography Users! The classes will be instructional, hands on, and live demonstrations of how to capture the basic foundation of photography, light.  If you are looking to get more out of your camera, get into being an online creator, make some money with your photos, and even improve your skills to get your business the edge you need to be successful.  These classes have started over 10 professionals in the creative space and would love to help you get there as well.

Here are some of the skills we will be going over to help you be a successful photographer in whatever interest you like to master:

  • We will go over ISO, Aperature, and Shutter speed.  We will learn the foundation of using your camera in manuel setting.
  • There will be live demsonstration using both Aperature and Shutter.
  • Discuss how important lenses vrs camera bodies, equipment, and maximizing your investment into photography.
  • You will build a portfolio that you can use to get your start in the world of photography.
  • We will go over techniques such as high Key, Low Key lighting situations, night photography, and composition.
  • We will dive into how to make your photos stand out, grab people's attention, and being your own style.
  • There will be resources shared when it comes to editing and posting your photos


Class requirements:

  • You must own a DSLR Camera.
  • You will be asked to provide photos for each asignment give each class.
  • We are asking to build a porfolio from this class to provide a basic knowledge of the skills you have learned.
  • Bring your enthusiasm to learn in the world of photography!

Class Schedule:

  • Class 1: Introduction to the class format.  We will go over equipment and basic instruction in the tools we will be using. Learn about White Balance, ISO, and Shutter Speed.
  • Class 2: We will learn about aperture, depth of field, and the importance to your lenses along with which lens is best to use at the right time.
  • Class 3: Subject points will be capturing light thru instuctions on high key and low key lighting.  We will go over natural lighting and artificial lighting.
  • Class 4: This class will focus on making the best photos, sharing your photos, and editing basics.
  • Class 5: This class will be about low light photography, night photography, and the art of lighting.
  • Class 6: There will be improving your landscape photos, photographing in landscape and vertical, along with finding the right angles.
